The Jasenovac Research Institute cordially invites you to our 7th Annual Dinner

Dear Colleagues and Friends of JRI,

We would be delighted if you would be able to join us on these two days, on which we mark the sixty-fifth anniversary of the heroic break-out of the remaining prisoners of Jasenovac, which ended the Holocaust in Yugoslavia, and remember the terrible price paid by Serbs, Jews and Romas in World War II.

We look forward to being with you on this solemn but important occasion on which we remember and reflect upon our martyrs who perished, and in which we invite the larger community of New Yorkers, Americans, and all of humanity to learn more about this genocide against Serbs, Jews, Romas and anti-fascists.
The world still has not learned the lessons of Jasenovac. But we must never fail to re-dedicate ourselves to the memory of the victims and our promise to them to let the truth be known.

DAY OF JASENOVAC COMMEMORATION CEREMONY
On this day we shall honor the victims and Survivors of the Jasenovac Death camps and all other victims and Survivors of the Holocaust in Yugoslavia , 1941-1945.

Special Guest Speaker: Hieromonk Jovan Culibrk, Coordinator of the Jasenovac Committee of the Serbian Orthodox Church based in Jerusalem

A ceremony marking the unveiling of a new monument for the town of Zaglembie , Poland will be held jointly with ours, and Survivors and relatives of victims of the Holocaust from both Yugoslavia and Poland will be in attendance.
